Below is the view from our hotel room - it doesn't get much better than that.  </p> <p>I also managed to get a couple of dives in just off the coast on the reefs.</p> <p><a title="Aerial view of beach, Playa Acone by CJ Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796649301/"><img height="500" alt="Aerial view of beach, Playa Acone" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3221/2796649301_501fa887b5.jpg" width="333" /></a><a title="20071017_Playa Acone_005 by CJ Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796612971/"><img height="333" alt="20071017_Playa Acone_005" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3294/2796612971_8fb632d2ba.jpg" width="500" /></a></p> <p> <a href="http://www.dreamstime.com/res125558" target="_blank"><img alt="Royalty Free Images" src="http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/img/468x60-2.gif" border="0" /></a></p> CJPhotohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415573817014643354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-212666660058662238.post-32467198333347145502008-10-16T03:00:00.000-07:002008-10-16T03:00:01.679-07:00TDI07: Its Che again<p>This day in 2007:</p> <p><a title="Che Guevara monument, statue, Santa Clara by CJ Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796392423/"><img height="500" alt="Che Guevara monument, statue, Santa Clara" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3257/2796392423_4383f4e68c.jpg" width="333" /></a></p> <p>Santa Clara, Cuba: We visited the memorial to Che Guevara before catching the bus to Trinidad.</p> <p><a title="Che Guevara memorial, monument, statue, Santa Clara by CJ Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2797310530/"><img height="160" alt="Che Guevara memorial, monument, statue, Santa Clara" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3014/2797310530_4b0fa0b823_m.jpg" width="240" /></a></p> <p> <a href="http://www.dreamstime.com/res125558" target="_blank"><img alt="Royalty Free Images" src="http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/img/468x60-2.gif" border="0" /></a></p> CJPhotohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415573817014643354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-212666660058662238.post-40056883739387126082008-10-15T03:00:00.000-07:002008-10-15T03:00:01.896-07:00TDI07: The cars of Cuba<p>This day in 2007:</p> <p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2797098920/" title="20071015_Habana_004 by CJ Photo, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3203/2797098920_c37f74dfdd.jpg" width="500" height="333" alt="20071015_Habana_004" /></a></p> <p>Cuba: One of the great things about Cuba is the classic cars. They are a heap of crap but they do look great. If only they were renovated. Sure beats the ladas which is the only other thing on the roads.</p> <p><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796191399/" title="20071014_Habana_002 by CJ Photo, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3047/2796191399_2fd51d561a_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="20071014_Habana_002" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796291699/" title="20071015_Habana_005 by CJ Photo, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3121/2796291699_b2a904ac33_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="20071015_Habana_005" /></a><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796323797/" title="20071015_Habana_006 by CJ Photo, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3225/2796323797_98cc5a1500_m.jpg" width="240" height="160" alt="20071015_Habana_006" /></a></p> <p> <a href="http://www.dreamstime.com/res125558" target="_blank"><img alt="Royalty Free Images" src="http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/img/468x60-2.gif" border="0" /></a></p> CJPhotohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415573817014643354noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-212666660058662238.post-2859498225922750852008-10-14T03:00:00.000-07:002008-10-14T03:00:02.074-07:00TDI07: Wonderful Habana, Cuba<p>This day in 2007:</p> <p><a title="20071014_Habana_056 by CJ Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796058199/"><img height="500" alt="20071014_Habana_056" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3278/2796058199_c534e81cf2.jpg" width="333" /></a></p> <p>Habana, Cuba: Another day in Habana so we wandered the old town. Above is the old lady who poses with the huge fake cigar (for money of course) and below is the National de Cuba Hotel. As we Drunk our Cuba Libra (rum and coke) of the back garden, you could image the Al Capone and the rest of the mafia drink along side. </p> <p><a title="20071014_Habana_005 by CJ Photo, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/cjphoto/2796161061/"><img height="333" alt="20071014_Habana_005" src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3063/2796161061_91a6889cd8.jpg" width="500" /></a></p> <p> <a href="http://www.dreamstime.com/res125558" target="_blank"><img alt="Royalty Free Images" src="http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/img/468x60-2.gif" border="0" /></a></p> CJPhotohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12415573817014643354noreply@blogger.com0
