This Day in 2007:
Last year we were living just up the road from the All England Lawn Tennis Club which at this time of year hosts the famous Wimbledon Championships. So we packed up early from work and rocked on up early in the afternoon to watch a few games of tennis. We were hoping to see one of the Williams sisters in the doubles but she was held up on centre court (we only got the cheap seats) but we still got to see a few good games before the rain started (not really a tennis follower so we didn’t recognise any of the names).
The light wasn't that good and I was having to use to zoom lens at full reach but I still managed to get a few shots which captured the action. Have a look at my Wimbledon Photo Set for more photos from the day.
